Bill Weaver (born 1952) American currently specializing in unique fabricated and forged metal sculpture.

Artist Statement: "Art inspires and Art endures; that is my ambition and my justification"

Artist Resume:
BA Metropolitan State College, Denver, CO; Apprenticeships with Edgar britton, bronze sculptor, and Ole Jorgenson, wood sculptor; grant recipient, Allied Arts Group, Denver CO.

2002 Selected artist for the New Mexico Arts Public Art Acclaimed Artist's Series; 2000 New Mexico 1% for the Arts acquisition of large wall relief for the Bernalillo County Courthouse, Albuquerque, NM; Solo exhibitions in CO and NM; and, featured artists on "Colores", PBS-TV series on contemporary artists in New Mexico.

Invitational exhibitions include in part: 2002 Sculpture Ranch Inaugural, Santa Fe NM; 2001 Shidoni Gallery 30th Anniversary Invitational, Tesuque NM; "Miniatures/99", "/97" and "/95" and "Magnifico!" monumental outdoor work at the Albuquerque Museum of Art, Albuquerque NM; "SOFA Chicago", Navy Pier, Chicago IL; "The Fine Art of Craft and Sculpture", LewAllen Gallery, Santa Fe NM; "Art LA-Expo", Los Angeles CA; "Lubbock Festival of the Arts", Lubbock TX

Group exhibitions in AZ, CA, CO, FL, IL, NM, OK, TX and WI

Commissions include in part: 8' bronze fountain in Pasadena CA; 7' bronze sculpture in Sheboygan WI; 5' bronze fountain in Dallas TX; 6' bronze fountain in Beverly Hills CA; several original bronze sculptures for Samsonite Luggage Co., Denver CO; 7' bronze floor relief for Teton Exploration and Drilling Co., Cheyenne WY; 4' bronze wall relief for Colorado School of Mines, Golden CO.
